Welcome to The Williamson American Legion Riders Post 394.
Back in 2007 a few local Legion members seen the need for help, that veterans within
Wayne County N.Y needed and was not getting. Nor was there a way for them to get the help needed Fast.

Out of the love to Ride and of the Brotherhood each have, it wasn't hard to see that as one,
no one could accomplish much, but as a group, we could.

So The Williamson American Legion Riders was created.

First a Legion Post was needed. The Williamson American Legion in Williamson N.Y granted us this request to use their Post as our New Home. Our Bylaws were then created and Officers were chosen. From there different programs were created and put into place.

Our Foodbox Program which has grown to providing help to 36 local veterans/familys/spouses, five (5) times a year for holidays and also in a emergency situtation.

Our Emergency Relief Funds Program helps veterans who have a hardship.

Are you a Veteran who has fallen appond hard times? or know of one who has? All the veterans we help are refered to us through the Wayne County Veterans Service Agency. It is through them that a veteran is vetted.(Proven you are a veteran and fit within our guidlines of needing our assistance.)

Please visit the Wayne County Veterans Service Agency to set up a interview. Their link can be found to the left side bar under helpful links.

The Williamson American Legion Rider provides a service to all low income veterans within Wayne County N.Y, who fall under our guidlines.
